This was the most enjoyable Christmas story that I read this year. New to this author, I am intrigued by the endearing qualities of her characters. Their problems represent very real situations that most of us have or will encounter in our lifetimes. What I really like is the fact that they are not depicted as whiney victim types, but just kind, regular folks who are learning to deal with change and growing in the process. Heartwarming and inspiring read.... makes you feel good about the resilience of the human spirit.
Started slow for me, but other parts of the story kept me turning the pages.Coleman did well bringing the setting to life, but the character development was a bit uneven.Loved Max...and hearing about Tia's writing process.The brother's estrangement was a bit hard to swallow.Coleman introduced some interesting twists.All in all a good book and at times pretty writing.
Wonderful story about love and true success, and the need for forgiveness. Gentle people lovingly portrayed. Highly recommended for those who want that special Christmas story.
Lots of things to learn with good advice thrown in. Lots of twist conflicts, and great advice/insight of things that happens. Things are not always as they appear and we should always face things with an open mind d. I really enjoyed the story.
It was JUST what I was looking for. It is well written, engaging and doesn't have alot of that "cheesy" factor I typically hate in books of this genre...lol.....I wish I could find another like it!
Snowflakes Over Holly Cove was such a good read. Love reading seasonal stories and loved everything about this one. The. Characters, the details , the sadness and happiness. And most of all the love and the magic of Christmas.
It was a nice story but so contrite. I guess there was no other way to end it with a nice feeling, but just so expected. A little twist and turn here and there but nothing special. All I can say is, yes, it was a nice story.
The characters were so full of love and kindness. Seeing how the people in this community took care of one another, made me wish I could live there. The characters came alive and touched my heart as the story unfolded.
