In the past I have read a few books written by the greatest heavy weight boxer, Muhammad Ali) and when I saw this large size hardcover book Twelve Rounds to Flory by Charles R. Smith Jr. and illustrated by Bryan Collier) on Amazon market place for a bargain price I purchased it.This 78 page book gives a brief biography of “The Greatest.” It is also fully illustrated. In round one it tells of the birth of Cassius Clay in Louisville, Kentucky. Round two explains how the meeting with a police officer changed his life, when the officer suggested that young Clay should learn how to box. Round three tells about “Clay, the conqueror of Rome.” Round four further explores how the mighty mouth was used to get his opponents shook up and off their game plan when he fought them. Round five covers the rise of Muhammad Ali in the ring. Round six deals with the “politics of peace.” Round seven through twelve further chronicles his life.I found this book somewhat interesting but many of the pages were missing in this book which left gaps in the totality of the book. This is one of the down sides to ordering books in the used book section of Amazon market place; nevertheless, if you are interested in the life of the greatest heavyweight boxer who ever lived, you might want to check out this volume.Rating: 3 Stars. I've loved Ali since I was a child and my dad would talk about him and how amazing he was. This book details Ali's life in 12 rounds...from Cassius Clay to Mighty Mouth to Ali to Champ of the World to Retired Peace Maker. Smith uses some of Ali's rhymes while creating unique prose to chronicle this story. The artwork is brilliant and clearly shows Ali's transformation through the years. Another outstanding display of historical significance that everyone should know. 5+++ stars

I didn't get this book at all! Unfortunately, among all the books with the same name, it was the only one which could be delivered to Russia... As a result - I don't have this book... :-( It is very pity!

THE LAST KINGS OF THULE A Year Among the Eskimos of GreenlandThis book was purchased for a young man whose heritage comes from these peoples. It was purchased from Powells of Chicago, was in excellent condition, arrived in a timely fashion, and was all that was expected. Excellent book.

Well I knew I was on a Nuclear Airbase and I remember the smell in the air when the escomos came to the base to get things. I never knew they lived that bad. On Dundus mountain was the King barried I was told but even in the book it stated nothing about that except the two clains killed each other over an argument. Also the weather was correct since I was in a phase which the temperature was -66 F below and the winds were 165 mph. It took down the the 160 foot transmitting tower and pushed a truck and a F102A out into the bay. Also we had a chopper crash into the bay when taking a Escomo to the hospital and all died due to the cold water. This was in 1959. So I can say that was good reading and I survied with a 20 degree lean and was entered into the blue nosed club and had a 10 foot stare when I got back to the States for a while and my hair shedded for a while as well. Capt USAF retired.

Surely, ethnography can never be a truly objective effort, but Malaurie seems to appreciate this and relates cultural information through an admitted cultural filter. Rather than stifle his own reactions in his writing, Malaurie has adequately described, with sensitivity, his personal paradigm shift as well as that of the culture he is inevitably impacting by his very presence. It is inevitable that in any ethnographic description it will be found that something is amiss, lacking, due to the inevitable loss of information that occurs whenever information is transferred across cultural and linguistic lines. This work is one of the few that I have read that treats cultural interaction and exchange with dignity on behalf of the observed and the one observing. And, after all, these lines of distinction regarding observer and the observed shift and change radically during such a period of cultural interaction. Malaurie wonderfully describes this process.

This book has been great for us!! It not only has recipes that start with easy purees and advance onto chunkier purees then eventually solids, but it also has great informational aspects. I can read about: what fruits or vegetables are high in what vitamin or how they help baby, how to store food, how long to store food, what ages are appropriate with what foods, and more. I also appreciate that it exposes baby to a lot of foods before 1 year of age. I don't believe waiting to try nuts, eggs, etc., and it allows parents to have access to these recipes but also highlights what foods might be higher allergens. It very easily provides choice. Many of the recipes are also adjustable with regard to thickness based on what is added. I love this! I would absolutely recommend it. Plus- the recipes are easy! :)

It's a nice book but you can get all the same information from Pinterest so I don't think I would bother getting this again.

Good not great. Gives some good ideas of foods to help expand baby's pallet. But the recipes are limited, and some of them are more involved than necessary. I use this for inspiration, but honestly you can find just as good recipes online.

The photos are beautiful, and if you're an apprehensive novice there's some information you may find useful. You just need a steamer and a blender or food processor. Most foods are made by steaming then blending. Add milk or water to thin as desired. There are some nice combination ideas I might not have thought of for mixing multiple foods together (baby guacamole, for example). Looking forward to trying more as we go.

We purchased this book several years ago and still use the recipes! The recipes are delicious and healthy. Starting from toddlers, the recipes are appropriate for a family dinner where everyone can eat the same food (no "kids food" and "grown up food"). The book also starts off with great tips to create healthy eating habits. I highly recommend it. It is a great gift too! I purchased several copies for friends who all loved it.

I really enjoy this cook book. My kids have been big fans of many recipies. Easy, quick, and also customizing some recipes is not a problem. I also like the pictures in the book. Great purchase

Love this cookbook lots of diversity especially as your child grows. It has some great recipies and ideas. You can modify your recipies to meet the needs of you child. This book also has a ton of tips and advice for cooking and food preparation.

Love this book. My daughter is now one year old and I've been making her food since she started eating solids. This book had some good ideas of how to introduce certain foods and so far its seemed to work well in our case. Our daughter eats a lot of vegetables and fruits and still hasn't had any processed foods. In some ways though I think this book isn't necessary if you already cook with raw ingredients, but never the less if you're looking for healthy ways to introduce your child to new or better foods...give this a shot.

There is a very detailed coverage of Cisco Cloud offerings from implementing, managing and monitoring. In between, there’s detailed coverage on Nexus switching and Cisco Cloud Automation and Orchestration Suites. Overall it a good book for getting up to speed with Cisco Cloud offerings and for passing the 210-455 exam.
